Crowded House Roasting Co.
Crowded House Roasting Company was started in 2016. Founded by Derrick Trimm and Jacob Trimm. Crowded House started off as an ambitious side gig with a 4 pound roaster.
Sadly, they have since sold their roaster and Crowded House now lives in our memories. I still wanted to pull up some of archived design files and showcase them here.
The name Crowded House comes from the idea that if you have a home that’s filled with friends, filled with family, you might say it’s a crowded house. The Trimm brothers wanted to take that idea and know that their coffee would be at the center of those conversations. Those memories. Those times where you simply want to slow down and enjoy a cup of coffee with the company you’re with.
When they first started the business I had helped them with their logo, brand identity, coffee bag packaging, and stickers.
One thing I wanted to do was to have a flexible system where it could fit on multiple formats with the logo having more details, as well as being simplified down to just the monogram.

Once the bags were designed, printed, and shipped we staged a photoshoot for the bags. Here’s some of the photos.
As mentioned above I wanted to design a flexible system that could work at the highest level of detail down to a the logo’s small form. The hat shows the application for it.
