Week 6: Font Conveyance

“Select a dozen contrasting fonts from your collection. Look them over and consider the “voice” that is conveyed through the characters. For each font, come up with two words whose meaning is amplified when presented in that particular face. Next, find a word whose meaning directly contradicts the look—and—feel of each of the fonts chosen.”

Realistic Fossil Watch – Vector

I was sitting in class one day, and looked down at my watch and it struck me that this would be a great vector project. I literally took off my watch and opened up Illustrator and started to vector based on what it looked like, and I also focused on the realistic aspect of it (lighting, gradients, depth, etc).

In no way do I claim the rights to the fossil watch, just the vector. I’m not creating this to gain profit. Just to test my skills in Illustrator.
